I wanted to say thank you from myself and my crew.

We had a blast and it was fun. I got to play for once and I met a couple of new people as well.

Great times and I hope to do it again at some point.

A model or set of models, doesn't have to be from the army being played, that you painted. I will judge.

I'd prefer 4.0, simply because 3.0 wont be used anymore. However, I'd keep it 3.0 since that's what's been advertised. None of the crew I'm bringing will care which version as we've played 3.0 and we've played one tourney with 4.0- We would just prefer the...

Also, just FYI, SR 3.0 is still in Beta.

Officially, it's 2.0, but no one has used that in years. Although it's going to be 3.0, I'd suggest starting to use 4.0 to get people used to the changes when they happen.

They used 4.0 at Origins, so I don't think it will be long now when the change occurs.

There is going to be 4 players coming up from Fort Scott to play. Sounds like we are going to have a full house with 8-10 players.

Is this tournament just going to be Warmachine and not Warmachine/Hordes? A couple of the players wanted to play Hordes, but I wasn't sure if it is going to be a crossover.

Hopefully 4.0 will be official format for tournaments soon. I think it is well balanced in making the scenarios just as important as caster kills and timed rounds give you plenty of time to do your thing without being too hurried. The best part of 4.0 is at the end of the match VPs in the scenario control area(s) are all that matter.

But for this tournament I will be prepared for 3.0 and fun.

Current version of Steamroller in use. Two lists, VP sniping allowed, all that jazz. More work for Matt, but for a decent turn out, I dont think he'll mind. My guess is, Matt, that unless SR4 gets the official nod by that day, 3 is our baby.
