We were planning to have our pre-release tourney on 8/22, however because the original time period to have an event coincided with GenCon (smooth move), it has been moved back. The dates now are 8/12 to 8/21. I want to make sure that we have as many people possible attending this event so I would like to get some feedback to which day is best. About the only day that is definitely out is 8/18.

The lowest I have placed in a tournament is 3rd. However, the TO down here... Well, let's just say that he's not easily swayed. As in nothing will change his mind. No rulings from Zen, Marty, or Jeff Alexander. No rulebook quotes. No nothing.
